Never say "die"

You've reached this page because RAD University has deprecated its tutorial on Line Polling.

Line polling is an obsolete technology. It doesn't mean that you won't find any information about it by searching the Internet, but I decided that rather than to clutter the RAD University site with old equipment that is best used as paper weights and doorstops (we all know those old pieces of equipment that tend to hang around the wiring closets and computer rooms), I prefer a less cluttered website that is easier to navigate.

Sometimes, technologies and protocols - at least the concepts behind them - are revived, even if for a different purpose from that of the previous incarnation. That's why I entitled this section "Never say 'die'". But if I bring back a tutorial on line polling technologies, the format and content will certainly be different from what was written back in 1994, and hence the deprecation of the old tutorial.

If you disagree and believe that the information is still useful to you, I'd be happy to hear from you. There can be life after death.

Thank you for visiting RAD University. I hope you will find other tutorials of interest to you.
